BT Comment: Cash for clunkers, cash for caulkers(gimme a break), government owned car companies, national ID cards (won't be able to get a job without one), government sponsored appliance rebates, the "fairness doctrine"(goodbye free speech... the list goes on. But the whole ball of wax, socialized medicine. Obamacare. In fact, why don't you just put Obama's name in front of any and all government programs, events, national parks, holidays, legal tender,etc.
Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Now I am not well versed in things of government but I would like to add something for what it's worth, if anything: In these here irritating times of political chaos, remember who you serve, BT, the One True God who was and is and ever shall be...in control. And remember Daniel the prophet. Forced to serve as a top official for a few very evil kings, and yet remained faithful to his God. These are end times. You are wide awake and seeing it all happening before your eyes and it seems as if sometimes it's just grates your nerves. You are like a prophet, BT, screaming out the obvious to people who think that it is God's will for government to feed the hungry...after all Jesus said to take care of the widows and orphans. Right? People get confused over that one. Let the government pass the collection plate, they say...and they allow leaders to make laws which as you say, steal their liberty and safety.
I was reading that the US govt will set up jobs with 40 hour work weeks to rehab criminals. Give 'em a way to earn a living and take responsibility for themselves, build their pride, so they will keep out of trouble. Millions on criminals to get them to be responsible, pay their taxes and stay out of prison. Benefits with health insurance? No. the government want's to take care of that...
Oh, I forgot about the Obamaramary Embalmerary.
