'Go for it,' Obama tells GOP on health repeal

IOWA CITY, Iowa – President Barack Obama dared Republicans to try to repeal his new health care law, telling them Thursday to "Go for it" and see how well they do with voters in November.

"Be my guest," Obama said in the first of many planned appearances to sell the revamp before fall congressional elections. "If they want to have that fight, we can have it. Because I don't believe the American people are going to put the insurance industry back in the driver's seat."

BT comment: Here again is the raging arrogance of the anointed one. Inciting his political opponents(and the American people) by daring them to even try to turn back his horrendous healthcare reform bill. The pomposity of this fool is near equivalent to that of one of the Caesars of ancient Rome. But this man is not a king, not an emperor, not a dictator(yet). He is though a Marxist, Socialist Progressive. And that is antithetical to what our Founders believed and what the Constitution prescribes. NO man is above the law. No not even the pseudo messiah Barack Hussein Obama. One of my few comforts is from the book of Proverbs where King Solomon writes that pride comes before a fall, and a haughty spirit before destruction. Unfortunately, America may suffer collateral damage when BO reaps what he sows. Pray to God that is not so.
Finally, didn't the Left decry George W. Bush's alleged taunt during the Iraq war attacks when he said "Bring them on"? An obvious show of strength and assurance that Barack cannot muster as he bows to every leader or dictator while apologizing on behalf of his own country. Then the infamous "Lurch", John Kerry taunted Bush and Republicans during the debates leading up to the 2004 elections by boasting "Bring it on". See the pattern? Liberals can only mock and taunt their own law abiding citizens with opposing political views, but grab their proverbial ankles when it comes to facing down real evil in the world. In both cases I don't think the liberal Democrats know who they are dealing with, and if they keep pushing their progressive agenda here and abroad, they will soon find out.

  1. I understand that many states are planning to sue for this unconstitutional law which requires all Americans to pay for thier health insurance, assuming that these people can afford it...or want it.

  2. and a fine for those who are found without insurance! Can you even believe it? Making it a crime not to have coverage? Ordinarily I tend to think it's " a crime" that people don't have coverage because they can't afford it...but a crime if they don't find the money to pay for it? THAT'S A CRIME!
